CEO Alliance Strategic Growth Groups Provide Added Value
 
The CEO Alliance Strategic Growth Groups provides a structured peer group in the tradition of executive roundtables/board of advisors to deliver the critical perspective and accountability that CEOs needed to build a Generative Organization. Each member is able to take a systemic approach to growing their business at an optimum rate. They will also have the critical insights of a true board of advisors committed to their success through clarity of direction and decision making. The Forum members will work with the Six Managerial Disciplines. Ideally, the Forum members will begin to treat each other as trusted members of their own personal Executive Leadership Team. These Forums are composed of peers who engage in candid and challenging discussions facilitated by a CEO Alliance Forum Director. This allows them to see the big picture, test ideas, overcome obstacles and seize opportunities that result in a structured development plan for which they will be held accountable. Members meet quarterly for 5- 6 hours with a small peer group of 4-6 CEOs, presidents, or business owners in order to support each other in reaching the full potential of the Generative State they are pointing toward. Change Management: Assess, Design, Align and Execute
 
The Center will constantly assess how well the organization is performing in achieving its strategic objectives. Based on that assessment it will work with the executive/management team to use the principles of structural design and change management to align the organization around its highest leverage points; to execute strategically to achieve its optimum rate of growth; and maximize utilization of all its resources and assets. Focus will always be on the development of core competencies in order to achieve a competitive advantage. Level three is organization wide. A Structured Step by Step Pathway to Inspired Performance
The process of embedding a Center for Inspired Performance (though iterative and based on each organizations unique set of circumstances and dynamics) will generally follow a step by step process during the first six months. From that point on, the Center will be in a constant state of discovering innovative and developmental strategies and guiding their implementation. The Center will constantly work with the design team and change coalitions; provide continuous training and development of all personnel; and work closely with the organizations leadership to maintain the managerial discipline required to grow the business in a sustainable manner.
 

The Steps: 
 

 
1. Conduct Proprietary Assessments (Individual Company)View
These assessments determine where the organization is currently in key areas needing change.

-Conduct an Organizational Assessment based on Best Practices

This Organizational Assessment will provide a baseline that determines precisely where the organization is in the Six Strategic Focus areas and Six Managerial Disciplines referenced earlier. (the assessment will be completed by all stakeholders)

-Conduct an Organizational Assessment based on interpersonal dynamics, cause and effect analysis, etc
Conduct in-depth interviews (one on one and in small groups) to determine the individual, interpersonal and group dynamics of the organization. During this process developmental gaps and areas that need to be addressed to remove the source of all organizational breakdowns, reactive behavior and limits to growth are diagnosed and mapped out.

-Conduct an Individual Assessment that reveals behavioral competencies which predict performance and maps out a personal development plan for each person Administer the Harrison Assessment Questionnaire in order to address Leadership issues and Emotional Intelligence, thus establishing personal development plans and initiating individual scorekeeping. Provide one on one coaching and feedback.
 
2. Conduct Mastering the Paradoxes of Leadership and Developing Emotional Intelligence Workshop (CEO Alliance Group)View
Each person will work with the results from their Harrison Assessment (HA) questionnaire that maps out their individual behavioral competencies, ways of thinking and highly predictable (personal) patterns of behavior. When coupled with an understanding of the organizations way of operating, the Harrison Assessment provides a clear picture of both why and how the organization is functioning the way it is.

-All team members will interact with one another in order to give and receive feedback and develop strategies to increase their effectiveness with one another

-Team effectiveness and/or identification of high, medium and low performers for all/several mission-critical positions may be included in this workshop
 
3. Conduct the Executive Leadership Conference (CEO Alliance Group)View
This is a 2.5 day retreat in which the entire management team and thought leaders participate in mapping out the underlying causal structure of the organization. The underlying structure determines every pattern of behavior (which will be charted during the retreat) decision-making process and way of viewing the past, present and future of the organization that influences current performance.

-It results in the complete alignment of the organization around key leverage points that remove the source of upset conditions and limits to growth. The Design Team and Change Coalitions are immediately focused on executing the discoveries from the leadership conference and maintain alignment around leverage points

-Meet with and provide direction to the Change Coalition Teams and work closely with Design Team Members in adjusting and achieving the absolute execution of growth strategies

- Provide ongoing coaching support to the members of the Design and Change Coalition team(s) as they align the organization around its highest leverage points and execute the strategies to remove the source of upset conditions and limits to growth

 
4. Develop High Performance Selection, Development and Promotion System (CEO Alliance Group)View
to attract, recruit and develop talent by utilizing Harrison Assessment templates and Center Performance Management Systems

-Develop templates for selection, promotion and development of a sustainable high performance organization. Establish performance criteria; determine the performance levels of each person, etc.

-Establish the Inspired Performance Playing field
 
5. Achieve Total Quality through Total Involvement and Team Management (CEO Alliance Group)View
to map out and improve mission critical processes and systems so that teams are going beyond their past best performance in all areas of the organizations operations

-All quality improvement tools and systems are utilized during this process, resulting in constant, consistent and comprehensive process improvement and world-class quality and service

-Teams keep score and each week work with their results to improve performance of all aspects of their process and service to their customers

-Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO certification are all part of this on going process where it is deemed necessary or seen as a value add

-Utilize established performance criteria to determine who the high, medium and low performers are; begin the process of working with each of them to raise their level of performance in such a manner that it establishes a balanced growth strategy for the succession of the organization

-Identify and develop the core competencies required to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage

CEO Alliance will constantly work with the Company Design and Change Coalition Teams to assure that the planning and implementation of all process, project, knowledge, change, performance and team management processes are fully implemented. The Design and Change Coalition will constantly be refining the Company management model (flight simulator) so that all leverage points are identified and the organization is aligned around them. The team will focus on action being taken (and corrections made) by every member of the team to accomplish the Company Vision and Mission and strategic objectives. CEO Alliance will work with Company CEO and his Executive Team to constantly benchmark all performance and work with the Design and Change Coalition teams to identify and implement Best Practices in all aspects of the ongoing operations of the company.
